Budget & Expenses Sheet

This sheet includes columns for Vendor, Expense Category (Ads, Content, Software, Events), Budgeted Amount ($), Actual Spent ($), and Variance (formula: =Actual Spent - Budgeted Amount). Conditional formatting highlights over-budget items in red and under-spend in green. A running total at the bottom auto-calculates total spent and remaining budget.

Performance Metrics Sheet

Tracks KPIs such as Click-Through Rate (CTR), Conversion Rate, Cost Per Lead (CPL), Return on Ad Spend (ROAS). Columns include Metric Name, Target Value, Actual Value, % Achievement (=Actual/Target), and Date Recorded. Formulas auto-calculate YoY or MoM changes.

Instructions for the User

  1. Start by entering your Campaign Name, Dates, and Primary Goal on the Main Plan Overview tab.
  2. Add all planned marketing activities to the Project Tasks & Timeline sheet. Assign owners and deadlines.
  3. In the Budget sheet, list all expected expenses. Update "Actual Spent" weekly or biweekly.
  4. In Performance Metrics, input results from Google Analytics, CRM, or ad platforms weekly.
  5. Use the drop-down menus for Status and Prioritization — they trigger formatting automatically.
  6. When ready to report or share with stakeholders, go to the Printable Summary tab. This sheet is pre-formatted for A4 or Letter paper: all charts are sized correctly, margins are optimized, headers/footers include your company logo and page numbers.
  7. To print: File → Print → Select “Fit to Page” and choose black & white if needed. The layout preserves structure even when printed in grayscale.
