F: Duration (Days) Number (Calculated) - =E2-D2+1. Automatically calculates total days for each task.
G: Owner Text - Name of the team member or department responsible (e.g., “Content Team”, “Paid Ads”). Hidden from clients in printed versions.
H: Status Text (Dropdown) - Options: Not Started, In Progress, On Hold, Completed. Dropdown with data validation.

Conditional Formatting Rules
- Status Colors: “Completed” → Green fill; “In Progress” → Yellow; “Not Started” → Light Gray.
- Priority Highlights: “High” tasks have bold red text; “Medium,” regular black; “Low,” italic gray.
- Date-Based Alerts: Any task with an end date within 3 days of today turns the row orange to indicate urgency.
- Client-Visible Filtered Rows: Only rows where “Client Visible?” = Yes are displayed on Dashboard via dynamic ranges and INDEX/MATCH.
User Instructions
To Use This Template:
- Update the start/end dates in the “Campaign Schedule” tab according to your campaign plan.
- Set “Client Visible?” to “Yes” for all deliverables you wish the client to see. Hide internal tasks like budget approvals or internal reviews.
- Select task status from dropdowns (Column H) — this updates the Dashboard automatically.
- DO NOT edit formulas, named ranges, or chart sources. These are locked for consistency.
- When sharing with the client: Use “File > Save As PDF” or print to PDF to preserve formatting. Do not send .xlsx files unless requested — this version is optimized for readability.
- The Dashboard tab auto-updates as you change statuses. It’s your one-page executive summary for client meetings.
