Marketing Plan - Supply List - Employee View Excel Template
This Excel template is specifically designed for Marketing Plan execution with a focus on Supply List management from the perspective of the frontline Employee View. Unlike managerial dashboards, this template empowers marketing staff, field coordinators, and campaign assistants to efficiently track, request, and report on promotional materials and operational supplies required for day-to-day marketing activities. It bridges the gap between high-level strategic planning and ground-level execution by providing a simple yet comprehensive tool for employees to manage their supply needs without requiring approval from upper management for routine items.
Sheet Names
The template contains three interconnected sheets:
- Supply Request Log – The primary interface where employees submit and track supply requests.
- Inventory Master – A centralized, read-only view of current stock levels, approved items, and reorder thresholds.
- Dashboard (Employee) – A simplified visual dashboard showing personal request status, recent approvals, and upcoming needs based on campaign schedule.

Formulas Required
- In column A (Request ID) of Supply Request Log:
=IF(B2="","",CONCATENATE("MRK-",YEAR(TODAY()),"-",TEXT(ROW()-1,"000"))) - In column C (Department): Use VLOOKUP to pull department from Employee List:
=VLOOKUP(B2,EmployeeList!$A$2:$C$100,3,FALSE) - In column E (Category): Use INDEX/MATCH based on Item Name:
=INDEX(InventoryMaster!$C:$C,MATCH(D2,InventoryMaster!$B:$B,0)) - Status color coding uses conditional formatting rules (see below).
- Dashboard sheet uses COUNTIFS and SUMIFS to tally requests by status, category, or urgency.
Conditional Formatting
- Status Column (J): Green = Delivered; Blue = Approved; Red = Denied; Yellow = Pending.
- Current Stock (Inventory Master D): Light red fill if value < Reorder Threshold.
- Urgency Column (H): Red background for “High”, Orange for “Medium”, Gray for “Low”.
