Formulas & Automation

  • Total Cost ($) in Supply List uses simple multiplication: =[@[Quantity Needed]]*[@[Unit Cost ($)]].
  • Date Needed By pulls from Marketing Plan Overview using: =VLOOKUP([@[Marketing Goal ID]],'Marketing Plan Overview'!$A:$G,6,FALSE).
  • Budget Summary in Budget & Cost Analysis sheet sums all Total Costs with: =SUM('Supply List Tracker'[Total Cost ($)]), and compares to your allocated budget using conditional logic.

Conditional Formatting

  • Rows in Supply List where Purchase Status is “Not Ordered” and Date Needed By is within 7 days → highlighted in RED.
  • Total Cost exceeding budget allocation → highlighted in ORANGE on Budget sheet.
  • Status = “Completed” on Marketing Plan Overview → GREEN background for full row.

  2. For each goal, list every physical or digital item you’ll need under “Supply List Tracker.” Use dropdowns to maintain consistency.
