Formulas Required

  • Auto-populate Unit of Measure: Use VLOOKUP(ITEM_NAME, Supply_Master_DB, 4, FALSE)
  • Status Logic: If Current Stock < Required Quantity and Order Due Date is in the future → "On Order", else if no order → "Available" or "Backordered".
  • Stock Alert: Use conditional logic to flag items where CURRENT STOCK + ON ORDER QUANTITY < REQUIRED QUANTITY.
  • Budget vs. Actual: =IF(Actual_Spend > Budget_Allocation, "Over Budget", "Within Limit")
  • Weekly Total Spend: Use SUMIF(Week_Start_Date_Column, "specific week", Actual_Spend_Column)

Conditional Formatting Rules

  • Over Budget Items: Highlight in red if actual spend exceeds budget allocation.
  • Status Indicator: Green for "Available", yellow for "On Order", red for "Backordered".
  • Low Stock Warning: If current stock is less than 10% of required quantity → highlight in orange.
  • Dates Approaching Due Date: Yellow highlight if order due date is within 3 days.
