CONDITIONAL FORMATTING RULES
- Critical Stock Levels: Highlight cells in red if Current Stock Level ≤ Reorder Point.
- Zero Stock Items: Use bold red font and background fill for any item with 0 stock level.
- Overstock Items: Apply light yellow background for items exceeding a user-defined threshold (e.g., 2x average monthly usage).
- Status Indicators: Color-code status cells: green = Active, gray = Discontinued, orange = On Hold.
- KPIs on Dashboard: Use traffic light indicators (green/yellow/red) based on thresholds for metrics like inventory turnover and stock accuracy.
USER INSTRUCTIONS
- Initial Setup: Populate the Data Validation & Configuration sheet with standard categories, units, and default reorder levels.
- Add Inventory Items: Use the Inventory Master sheet to input all products. Ensure Item IDs are unique.
- Record Transactions: Every stock receipt or dispatch must be logged in the Transaction Log. Use dropdowns for consistency.
- Daily/Weekly Updates: Run a daily reconciliation to ensure the Current Stock Level matches physical counts. Update Last Updated Date accordingly.
- Review Dashboard: Check KPIs weekly. Identify items below reorder point or with zero stock and initiate procurement.
- Supplier Review: Use the Supplier Performance sheet to evaluate vendors monthly for reliability and quality.
- Saving & Sharing: Save regularly. Share the file via secure cloud platforms (e.g., OneDrive, SharePoint) with authorized team members only.
