- Net Research Equity = Total Assets – Total Liabilities.
- In the Monthly Summary, a pivot table summarizes monthly asset additions and liability payments using dynamic date ranges.
Conditional Formatting
- Assets Log: Cells with "Inactive" status are shaded light gray. Items over 80% of their lifespan (e.g., a 4-year-old item with a 5-year life) turn orange.
- Liabilities Log: Due dates within 7 days highlight in red; paid liabilities are greyed out.
- Balance Sheet Summary: Net Research Equity below $0 turns red, above $1,000 turns green to encourage positive research investment.
