• In the Summary Dashboard, total income: =SUM(CashInflows!E:E)
• Total expenses: =SUM(CashOutflows!D:D)
• Net cash flow: =Income_Total - Expenses_Total
• Monthly depreciation total: =SUM(Equipment!F:F) (automatically subtracted from expenses in Summary)
• Budget Variance: In the Budget vs Actual sheet, use =Actual - Budget with conditional formatting to highlight overruns in red.
• Running cash balance: Cumulative sum of net flow month-by-month using a simple running total formula on the Dashboard.

Conditional Formatting

• In the Cash Outflows sheet, any expense exceeding $500 is highlighted in orange to flag large purchases.
• Budget variance values over +10% (over-budget) are red; under -10% (under-budget) are green.
• Months with negative net cash flow on the Summary Dashboard display a red background for quick visual warning.

User Instructions
