User Instructions

How to Use This Template:

  1. Always enter data into the Master Inventory sheet first. Other sheets auto-populate via formulas.
  2. Do not delete or rearrange columns – this breaks dependencies and formulas.
  3. Use dropdowns for Status, Type, Department, and Access Level to ensure consistency.
  4. Update the Resource Allocation sheet weekly with actual spend (e.g., equipment rental, consumables).
  5. Never manually edit the “Last Updated” or “Audit Log” columns – they are automated.
  6. Export Dashboard visuals quarterly for executive reviews.
  7. To archive a project: Change Status to “Archived.” It will automatically hide from active views but remain in data history.
