Formulas Required
- Invoice Total: =SUM(Research Items!Total Amount)
- Date Due: =Date Issued + 15
- Subtotal Calculation: Nested IF logic based on Rate Type (as above).

Conditional Formatting
- Status Column: Red background if “Overdue”; green if “Paid”; yellow if “Pending”.

User Instructions

Step 2: Add new clients to the Client Database sheet. Use dropdowns in Invoice Header for quick selection.
Step 3: In Research Items, enter each research task with date, description, category, and billing method. The template auto-calculates subtotals and taxes.
Step 4: Review the Dashboard for income trends per research category or client.
Step 5: Print or PDF the Invoice Header sheet to send to clients. Keep a digital copy in your Research Management folder.
