Conditional Formatting Rules
- Budget Utilization % > 100%: Red fill.
- Milestone Delayed: Orange text, red border.
- Status = "Overdue": Bold, red background in Timeline sheet.
- Priority = High & Status ≠ Completed: Green border with yellow fill for emphasis.
User Instructions
For Managers Only: This template is designed for oversight, not data entry at the lab level. Research team leads should update their respective sheets weekly. You, as the manager, will primarily interact with the Dashboard and Project Overview tabs.
- Use dropdowns to update Status or Priority—do not type manually.
- Never delete rows in Project Overview; hide unused projects instead.
- All financial values must be entered in USD. Currency conversion is handled via external API links (optional).
- Enable macros if you wish to auto-refresh the Dashboard daily.
- Run the “Export Summary” button on the Report Export sheet to generate PDF/PowerPoint reports for stakeholders.
