Key Formulas Used in the Template

• Monthly Employee Cost: = (Base Salary + Benefits) / 12
• Total Monthly Team Cost: = SUMIF(Employee Input Form!C:C, "Engineering", Employee Input Form!D:D)
• Cash Flow (Net): = Revenue - (Total Operating Expenses + Total Employee Costs)
• Burn Rate (Monthly): = ABS(Cumulative Cash Balance change over 1 month)
• Runway Estimate: = Cumulative Cash Balance / Monthly Burn Rate (in months)

Conditional Formatting Rules

• If cash flow is negative for more than two consecutive months → Highlight cell in red.
• If employee cost exceeds 50% of revenue in a month → Yellow background with bold text.
• Burn rate exceeding $100,000/month → Red font and border.
• Employee input fields not filled out → Light gray fill to indicate missing data.

User Instructions
