This table is the central data repository with the following columns:
- Employee ID (Text, Unique): A unique identifier for each employee.
- Name (Text): Full name of the employee.
- Department (Text, Dropdown from References Sheet): Department category such as Marketing, R&D, Finance.
- Role / Job Title (Text, Dropdown): Standardized title (e.g., Senior Developer, Account Manager).
- Pay Period Start (Date): Start date of the payroll cycle.
- Pay Period End (Date): End date of the payroll cycle.
- Base Salary (Currency, $): Annual base salary divided by number of pay periods.
- Overtime Hours (Number, Decimal): Hours worked beyond standard schedule.
- Overtime Rate ($/hr): Hourly rate for overtime (default = 1.5 × regular hourly rate).
- Regular Pay (Currency): Base pay for the period.
- Overtime Pay (Currency): Calculated as Overtime Hours × Overtime Rate.
- Bonus / Incentives (Currency): Performance-based or project-related bonuses.
