Formulas Required
- VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP: To pull employee names from the Employee Study Tracker based on ID in Payroll Summary.
- SUMIFS: Calculate total study hours per department or course. Example:
=SUMIFS(Hours_Studied_Column, Department_Column, "IT", Status_Column, "Completed") - IF / AND Statements: Determine if an employee is eligible for a bonus based on completion status. Example:
=IF(AND(Status="Completed", Bonus_Amount>0), "Eligible", "Not Eligible") - DATEDIF: Calculate time between Start Date and Current Date to track progress duration.
- COUNTIFS: Count employees in each status (e.g., how many are still "In Progress").
Conditional Formatting
- Status Column (Tracker): Color codes based on status: Green for “Completed”, Yellow for “In Progress”, Red for “Canceled”.
- Paid Status (Payroll Summary): Blue text if "Not Paid", green if "Paid - Cycle 1" or "Paid - Cycle 2".
- Completion Bonus: Highlight in yellow if bonus exceeds $500.
- Dates: Auto-highlight any overdue course completion dates (past Expected Completion Date).
