    4. Nutrition Summary Sheet

    A dashboard that calculates average daily calories, protein intake, and dietary balance based on user-inputted nutritional values (optional field in Meal Planner). Uses VLOOKUP or XLOOKUP to map common meals to pre-loaded databases (e.g., “Pasta Carbonara” = 650 kcal).

    5. Expense Tracker Sheet

    Optional. Tracks meal-related spending per location and compares it to your budget. Enables color-coded alerts when over-budget.

    Formulas Required

    • =VLOOKUP(A2, MealDatabase, 3, FALSE) — To auto-fill calories for meals entered
    • =SUMIFS(Nutrition[Calories], Nutrition[Date], TODAY()) — Daily calorie summary
    • =UNIQUE(FLATTEN(MealPlanner[Meal Plan])) — To extract unique meal items into Shopping List (requires Power Query or helper columns)
    • =IF(TODAY()>=[@Date], "⚠️ Past Due", "") — Flags meals planned for past dates

    Conditional Formatting

    • Dietary Preference: Green for Vegetarian, Blue for Vegan, Orange for Gluten-Free.
    • Date Highlighting: Yellow background if the meal date is today; Red if it’s in the past.
    • Shopping List: Light gray when “Purchased?” = Yes; Bold text if item is critical (e.g., allergy-safe food).
    • Nutrition Dashboard: Bar chart with green/yellow/red thresholds for daily calorie intake.

    User Instructions

    1. Begin by entering your trip dates in the Trip Itinerary sheet.
    2. In Meal Planner, fill out each meal slot for every day. Use dropdowns for consistency.
