As Nigeria Abuja continues to expand at an unprecedented rate, the city faces complex challenges related to logistics efficiency, healthcare delivery optimization, public transportation management, and industrial productivity. This paper argues that the systematic application of Industrial Engineering principles is not merely beneficial but essential for sustaining growth in this dynamic urban environment. By integrating lean manufacturing concepts into service sectors, optimizing supply chain networks for the FCT market, and employing data-driven decision-making models for municipal planning, Nigeria Abuja can mitigate operational inefficiencies. This study reviews current operational bottlenecks in Abuja’s infrastructure and proposes a robust Academic Journal Article framework that highlights specific interventions where industrial engineering methodologies can drive sustainable development.
