During the internship period at the Centre for Mental Health in Belgium Brussels, I was assigned to three distinct units: Child and Adolescent Services, Refugee Support Programs, and Adult Outpatient Therapy. In the refugee support unit, I observed how trauma manifests differently across cultures. Many clients suffered from "acculturation stress," a phenomenon particularly prevalent in international hubs like Belgium Brussels. Working under the supervision of Dr. Dubois, I assisted in conducting intake interviews.
