Terms, Conditions & Notes
1. This Invoice is issued by Dr. Nimal Perera, a licensed Professional Astronomer registered with the Sri Lanka Institute of Science, for services rendered in and around Sri Lanka Colombo during the period specified above. All astronomical observations, data, and reports referenced in this Invoice were conducted under the professional supervision of the Astronomer named herein.
2. Payment of the full amount of LKR 1,394,400.00 (One Million Three Hundred Ninety-Four Thousand Four Hundred Sri Lankan Rupees) is due within fifteen (15) calendar days from the date of this Invoice. Payments should be made via bank transfer to: Commercial Bank of Ceylon, Colombo Main Branch, Account No. 0012345678901, in the name of Dr. Nimal Perera.
3. All astronomical data, images, and research reports delivered as part of this engagement remain the intellectual property of the Astronomer unless a separate licensing agreement is executed in writing. The client, Colombo University, is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the data for academic and research purposes within Sri Lanka Colombo and internationally.
4. Any disputes arising from this Invoice or the associated services shall be governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Colombo, Sri Lanka Colombo.
5. This Invoice is valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of issue. Late payments shall attract interest at the rate of 1.5% per month as per Sri Lankan commercial practice.
6. The Astronomer confirms that all services described in this Invoice were performed in full compliance with the Sri Lanka National Optical Astronomy Regulations and the Colombo Municipal Council permits for nighttime observation activities in the Sri Lanka Colombo metropolitan area.
