Notes & Terms of This Invoice
1. This Invoice is issued in accordance with the commercial regulations of the Republic of Senegal and the tax code applicable in Dakar. All amounts are expressed in West African CFA Francs (XOF) as mandated by the BCEAO (Central Bank of West African States).
2. La Boulangerie de Dakar, as a registered Baker in Senegal Dakar, guarantees that all products listed in this Invoice are prepared using certified organic flour sourced from local Senegalese mills, fresh butter from the Casamance region, and eggs from approved farms in the Ndioum area. No artificial preservatives are used in any of our baked goods.
3. Payment for this Invoice is due within fourteen (14) calendar days of the Invoice date. Payment may be made via bank transfer to our account at Ecobank Senegal (IBAN: SN09 1000 2000 0123 4567 8901 234) or by certified cheque payable to "La Boulangerie de Dakar." Late payments will incur a penalty of 1.5% per month as per Senegalese commercial law.
4. All baked goods referenced in this Invoice must be consumed within 48 hours of delivery to ensure optimal freshness and quality. Our Baker team recommends storing croissants and éclairs at room temperature, while the wedding cake must be kept refrigerated at 4°C until the event.
5. This Invoice is valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of issue. Any disputes regarding the quantities, pricing, or quality of the baked goods must be raised in writing within seven (7) days of receipt. Our office in Plateau, Dakar, Senegal is available Monday through Saturday, 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM, for any inquiries related to this Invoice.
6. La Boulangerie de Dakar reserves the right to substitute equivalent ingredients in the event of seasonal unavailability, provided that the substitution does not alter the fundamental character of the product. The Baker in charge of each batch will document any such changes on the delivery note accompanying the goods.
7. This Invoice constitutes a binding commercial document under Senegalese law. In the event of a dispute, the competent courts of Dakar, Senegal shall have exclusive jurisdiction. Both parties agree to attempt amicable resolution before initiating any legal proceedings.
