Invoice Notes & Baker's Remarks
This Invoice has been prepared by The Manchester Baker Ltd, a registered bakery and catering supplier operating from the heart of United Kingdom Manchester. All baked goods listed above were produced in our commercial kitchen at 142 Deansgate using locally sourced ingredients from Greater Manchester suppliers wherever possible.
The custom wedding cake (Ref 005) was designed and handcrafted by our head Baker, Mr. James Thornton, over a period of five working days. The design consultation was conducted on-site at the client's premises in Manchester on 28 May 2025. The cake will be delivered on 14 June 2025 between 09:00 and 13:00 BST.
Please note that all fresh pastry items (Ref 002, 006) must be consumed within 48 hours of the delivery date to ensure optimal quality. The Baker recommends storing croissants and danishes at room temperature in a ventilated container, away from direct sunlight.
Payment for this Invoice is due within fourteen (14) calendar days of the issue date, no later than 26 June 2025. Please reference Invoice number MB-2025-00487 on all correspondence and remittances.
Terms & Conditions – The Manchester Baker Ltd
1. This Invoice constitutes a binding agreement between The Manchester Baker Ltd (hereinafter "the Baker") and the client named above for the supply of bakery products and related services in United Kingdom Manchester.
2. All goods are supplied subject to the Baker's standard terms of trade, which are available upon request. The Baker reserves the right to substitute equivalent products in the event of ingredient unavailability, provided prior written notice is given to the client.
3. Late payment on this Invoice will incur interest at a rate of 4% above the Bank of England base rate, calculated on a daily basis from the due date until the date of full settlement, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
4. The Baker shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from the client's failure to store delivered goods in accordance with the instructions provided on this Invoice.
5. All disputes arising from this Invoice shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Manchester, United Kingdom.
6. The Baker's VAT registration is valid and current. A VAT receipt is provided as part of this Invoice for the client's accounting records.
7. This Invoice is valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of issue. After this period, the Baker reserves the right to re-quote pricing for any outstanding balance.
