Invoice Notes & Important Information
This Invoice is issued by Economist Media & Advisory Group (Myanmar) Ltd. for the provision of Economist publications, intelligence services, and advisory programs specifically tailored for clients operating within Myanmar Yangon. All Economist content referenced in this Invoice is licensed for use within the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and is subject to the terms of the master service agreement dated 1 January 2025.
The Economist digital subscription grants access to all editorial content, including the weekly Economist magazine, the Economist Intelligence Unit country risk assessments, and the Economist Data platform. The Myanmar Yangon-specific market analysis reports will be delivered in both English and Burmese to ensure accessibility for all stakeholders within the client organization.
Payment for this Invoice must be remitted to the KBZ Bank account specified above. Please reference the Invoice number INV-ECON-2024-0783 in all correspondence and bank transfers. Late payments beyond the due date of 30 June 2025 will incur a penalty of 1.5% per month as stipulated under Myanmar commercial law and the terms of our service agreement.
Terms & Conditions of This Invoice
- This Invoice constitutes a formal request for payment for Economist services rendered and to be rendered in Myanmar Yangon during the specified service period.
- All Economist intellectual property, including but not limited to articles, data sets, reports, and briefing materials, remain the exclusive property of Economist Media & Advisory Group and may not be reproduced or redistributed without written consent.
- The client acknowledges that this Invoice covers services exclusively for the Myanmar Yangon metropolitan area and its immediate economic zone. Any extension to other regions of Myanmar will require a supplementary Invoice.
- Disputes arising from this Invoice shall be resolved through the Myanmar Yangon Arbitration Centre in accordance with the Arbitration Law of Myanmar (2016).
- This Invoice is valid for 90 days from the date of issue. After this period, the client must request a revised Invoice reflecting any applicable price adjustments.
- All amounts stated in this Invoice are in Myanmar Kyat (MMK) and are inclusive of applicable local taxes unless otherwise noted. The 5% VAT rate applies as per the Myanmar Yangon municipal tax regulations effective 2025.
- By accepting this Invoice, the client agrees to the full terms of the Economist Master Service Agreement, a copy of which is available upon request from our Myanmar Yangon office.
