Payment Method: Bank transfer (wire) in CNY. International payments accepted in USD at the prevailing exchange rate, subject to a 1.5% conversion surcharge.
Payment Terms: Net 30 days from the date of this Invoice. Late payments shall accrue interest at 0.05% per calendar day as stipulated under the Civil Code of the People's Republic of China.
1. This Invoice constitutes a formal request for payment for Film Director services rendered in connection with the production referenced above. All services were performed within the administrative boundaries of China Beijing in compliance with the Film Law of the People's Republic of China and the regulations of the National Radio and Television Administration (NRTA).
2. The Film Director retains full creative authority over all artistic decisions during the production period as outlined in the Master Services Agreement dated 1 February 2025. This Invoice covers only the professional directing fees and does not include crew salaries, equipment rental, or location costs, which are invoiced separately by their respective vendors.
3. All intellectual property rights in the final film, including the directorial vision, blocking, and performance interpretations developed by the Film Director, shall be jointly owned by the Film Director and Beijing Horizon Media Group Co., Ltd. in accordance with the Copyright Law of the People's Republic of China.
4. This Invoice is subject to the tax regulations of the State Taxation Administration of China. The 6% Value Added Tax (VAT) applied reflects the standard rate for cultural and creative services as classified under the China Beijing municipal tax authority. A VAT special invoice (fapiao) will be issued upon receipt of full payment.
5. Any dispute arising from this Invoice or the underlying services shall be resolved through arbitration by the Beijing Arbitration Commission (BAC) in accordance with its arbitration rules. The seat of arbitration shall be China Beijing, and the language of arbitration shall be English.
6. The Film Director warrants that all services described in this Invoice were performed personally and in a professional manner. The Film Director shall not be liable for delays caused by force majeure events, government-mandated production halts, or regulatory approvals pending with the China Beijing municipal film review board.
7. This Invoice is valid for 90 days from the date of issue. If payment is not received by the due date, the Film Director reserves the right to suspend all post-production deliverables and withhold final master files until the outstanding balance is settled in full.
I, Wang Li-Ming, hereby certify that this Invoice accurately reflects the Film Director services rendered in China Beijing during the period of 1 March 2025 to 10 June 2025. I confirm that all charges listed are in accordance with the agreed Master Services Agreement and applicable Chinese tax law.
