Terms, Conditions & Notes Regarding This Invoice
This invoice is issued in accordance with the professional services agreement (Contratto di Prestazione d'Opera Intellettuale) signed on 10 January 2025 between the undersigned University Lecturer and the Università degli Studi di Milano, Italy Milan. All services described herein were performed in compliance with the academic regulations and ethical guidelines established by the Italian Ministry of University and Research (MUR) and the institutional bylaws of the University of Milan.
- Payment Terms: Payment of the full net amount due (€ 20,318.40) shall be made via bank transfer (bonifico bancario) to the IBAN specified above within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue of this invoice. Late payments shall accrue interest at the rate established by Article 1284 of the Italian Civil Code.
- Tax Compliance: This invoice is issued in full compliance with Italian fiscal regulations (DPR 633/1972 and subsequent amendments). The University Lecturer is registered in the Italian tax registry (Registro Imprese) under the P.IVA number indicated. The 20% withholding tax (ritenuta d'acconto) has been applied as mandated by Article 25 of the TUIR (DPR 917/1986) for professional services rendered to public entities in Italy Milan.
- Academic Integrity: All teaching materials, research outputs, and intellectual property generated during the period covered by this invoice remain subject to the intellectual property clauses outlined in the original service agreement. The University of Milan retains institutional rights over course materials developed specifically for its curriculum in Italy Milan.
- Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this invoice or the underlying services shall be resolved through the competent courts of Milan, Italy, in accordance with Italian law. The parties agree to attempt amicable resolution before initiating any formal legal proceedings.
- Confidentiality: The University Lecturer acknowledges and agrees to maintain strict confidentiality regarding all student data, internal university communications, and proprietary research information encountered during the performance of services in Italy Milan, in full compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR – Regulation 2016/679) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003.
- Invoice Validity: This invoice is valid for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of issue. After this period, the University of Milan reserves the right to request a reissued invoice with updated tax references.

Marco Alessandro Bianchi, hereby certify that all services listed in this invoice were personally performed by me in my capacity as a University Lecturer at the University of Milan, Italy Milan, during the academic period specified. I confirm that the hours recorded are accurate and that no portion of the compensation has been subcontracted to third parties. This declaration is made under the provisions of Articles 47 and 76 of DPR 445/2000 (Sostituzione delle certificazioni).
