After breakfast, we go to school in the blue bus. The driver, Mr. Henderson, always waves at us! At school, I learn so many things. Today we painted pictures of our families. My painting has Mom holding hands with Dad and Timmy and me.

We have recess!

My favourite part of the day is when we go outside to play on the swings. I swing super high! My friend Lucy lets go just a little bit higher than me, but she doesn't fly away, so it's okay. We chase each other around the slide and pretend we are dinosaurs roaring.

When I get home, there’s always something yummy for dinner. Sometimes it’s pasta, sometimes it's fish fingers (my favourite!). Timmy helps set the table by putting forks down. He says he is "helping mom" because he wants to be a big boy.

I love storytime!

After dinner, Mom reads us stories. She does funny voices for the animals in the books! Sometimes we act out the stories together. Last week, we pretended to be pirates looking for treasure under our beds.

Before bed, I take a bath with my rubber ducks. There are five of them! One is yellow, one is blue... well, they’re all kind of yellowish-blue. Then it’s time for pajamas and brushing teeth.

I dream big dreams!

Mom tucks me in and kisses my forehead. I look out the window at the stars twinkling outside. Sometimes I wish I could fly up there too, like Superman! But then Timmy snuggles up next to me, and it feels nice to be warm.

This is my day. It’s simple but full of love and laughter. Every morning starts with hope, every afternoon ends with joy, and every night brings sweet dreams. I’m happy to be a kid!
