This Lab Report aims to analyze the structural, ethical, and operational dimensions of journalism within a specific geopolitical context: Abidjan, Ivory Coast. As the economic capital of Côte d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast), Abidjan serves as a critical hub for information dissemination in West Africa. The objective of this study is to evaluate how Journalist professionals operate under the pressure of digital transformation, political sensitivity, and economic constraints.

In recent years, the media landscape in Ivory Coast has undergone significant shifts. The transition from state-controlled broadcasting to a more pluralistic, albeit challenging, environment requires a rigorous examination of professional standards. This report treats the newsroom in Abidjan as a "laboratory" where hypotheses regarding press freedom, safety protocols for Journalist personnel, and audience engagement are tested against reality.

Data collection for this Lab Report was conducted through observational methods and semi-structured interviews within three major media outlets located in the Cocody and Plateau districts of Abidjan. The methodology includes:
