As internet penetration rates have skyrocketed over the last decade, businesses in Dakar are increasingly migrating online to reach a broader consumer base.

This digital migration has created an urgent demand for skilled professionals who can build and maintain these online platforms. The core professional addressing this need is the Web Designer. In recent years, the definition of a Web Designer in the context of West Africa has expanded significantly. It is no longer sufficient to merely know how to use visual editing tools; modern practitioners must possess a deep understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards, and localized content strategies that resonate with Senegalese culture. This lab report investigates the efficacy of training programs designed to transform novices into competent Web Designers.
