In a city with high pollution levels and stress-related lifestyle factors, the prevalence of adult-onset communication disorders is rising, necessitating a robust therapeutic framework.

Despite the increasing demand for speech pathology services in major Indian cities, significant barriers remain. In India New Delhi, the ratio of qualified therapists to patients is critically low. Most available services are concentrated in premium private hospitals located in affluent neighborhoods such as South Delhi or Gurgaon (NCR), leaving peripheral areas and lower-income communities underserved.
