All goods under this Purchase Order shall be delivered to the University of Brasília campus, Setor de Edifícios Universitários Norte, Asa Norte, Brasília, Distrito Federal, Brazil. The delivery window is scheduled between 01 July 2025 and 15 July 2025. The supplier is responsible for all transportation, customs clearance (if applicable for imported components), and insurance up to the point of delivery in Brasília. The Academic Researcher's laboratory assistant, Mr. Carlos Eduardo Ferreira, will be the designated receiving contact at the Brasília site. A signed delivery receipt must be obtained upon arrival and returned to the supplier within five (5) business days.
- This Purchase Order is governed by the Civil Code of Brazil (Código Civil, Lei nº 10.406/2002) and applicable federal procurement regulations for academic institutions in the Distrito Federal.
- The Academic Researcher reserves the right to inspect all delivered items within ten (10) business days of receipt in Brasília. Any defects, discrepancies, or non-conformities must be reported in writing to the supplier within this period.
- Payment shall be made via bank transfer (TED/PIX) to the supplier's designated account in Brazilian Reais (BRL) within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of the invoice, provided all goods have been accepted without reservation.
- All equipment must comply with INMETRO certification standards and ANVISA regulations where applicable. The supplier warrants that all items are new, unused, and free from manufacturing defects for a minimum period of twenty-four (24) months from the date of delivery in Brasília.
- The supplier shall provide full technical documentation, user manuals in Portuguese, and calibration certificates for all analytical instruments. The Academic Researcher requires these documents for compliance with CNPq research grant reporting obligations.
- Any modification to this Purchase Order must be made in writing and signed by both parties. Verbal agreements are not binding.
- In the event of late delivery beyond the agreed window, the supplier shall incur a penalty of 0.5% of the total Purchase Order value per calendar day of delay, up to a maximum of 10%.
- This Purchase Order does not constitute a long-term supply agreement. Each subsequent procurement by the Academic Researcher will require a new, separately issued Purchase Order.
- Disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through the courts of Brasília, Distrito Federal, Brazil, in accordance with Brazilian law.
This Purchase Order is hereby authorized and approved for execution. The undersigned Academic Researcher confirms that the funds for this procurement are allocated under CNPq Grant No. 2025-ENV-0341 and have been approved by the Department of Environmental Sciences at the University of Brasília.
