NOTE: All equipment listed in this Purchase Order is procured under the DOST-PCIEERD research grant and is intended exclusively for the use of the designated Academic Researcher and her team at the University of the Philippines Manila. Items must be delivered to the Department of Environmental Sciences laboratory, 3rd Floor, Science Building, UP Diliman, Philippines Manila. Installation and initial calibration of all instruments must be completed by the vendor's certified technicians prior to acceptance.

Terms and Conditions

  1. This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between the University of the Philippines Manila (Buyer) and SciLab Instruments Philippines, Inc. (Vendor) for the procurement of research equipment and materials as specified herein.
  2. All items must be new, unused, and in original manufacturer packaging. The Academic Researcher reserves the right to reject any item that does not conform to the specifications outlined in this Purchase Order.
  3. Delivery shall be made to the designated address in Philippines Manila. The Vendor is responsible for all transportation, insurance, and handling costs until the items are received and inspected at the Buyer's facility.
  4. Payment shall be made within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of receipt of a valid invoice and confirmed delivery, subject to the Buyer's internal procurement and accounting verification process.
  5. All equipment must carry a minimum of a two (2) year comprehensive warranty from the date of installation. The Vendor shall provide on-site technical support in the Philippines Manila area within forty-eight (48) hours of any reported malfunction during the warranty period.
  6. The Vendor shall provide complete documentation, including user manuals, calibration certificates, and compliance with Philippine FDA and DTI standards, for all instruments delivered under this Purchase Order.
  7. Any changes, modifications, or cancellations to this Purchase Order must be made in writing and signed by both the Academic Researcher (or her authorized representative) and the Vendor's authorized signatory.
  8. This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be resolved through the appropriate courts of jurisdiction in the Philippines Manila metropolitan area.
  9. The Vendor acknowledges that the equipment procured under this Purchase Order is funded by a government research grant and is subject to audit by the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) and the Commission on Audit (COA) of the Philippines.
  10. Confidentiality: The Vendor agrees to maintain strict confidentiality regarding the research methodology, data, and findings associated with the Academic Researcher's project. No information related to this Purchase Order or the associated research shall be disclosed to third parties without written consent.
