This Purchase Order is issued by the Instituto de Investigaciones Ambientales de Santiago to formally request and authorize the procurement of specialized Biologist professional services to be rendered in Chile Santiago and its surrounding metropolitan area. The engagement of a qualified Biologist is required to support ongoing environmental monitoring, biodiversity assessment, and ecological impact studies conducted by our institution within the Chile Santiago region. This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between both parties and shall be governed by the commercial and labor regulations applicable in Chile Santiago.

3.1 – Scope of Work: The Biologist engaged under this Purchase Order shall perform all fieldwork, laboratory analysis, and reporting activities within the administrative boundaries of Chile Santiago, including the communes of Providencia, Las Condes, Ñuñoa, and the Mapocho River basin. The Biologist must hold a valid professional license issued by the Colegio de Biólogos de Chile and demonstrate a minimum of five (5) years of experience in ecological research.
3.2 – Delivery Schedule: All deliverables associated with this Purchase Order must be completed within ninety (90) calendar days from the date of acceptance. The Biologist shall submit a detailed work plan within ten (10) business days of contract commencement, specifying milestones for each phase of the Chile Santiago field operations.
3.3 – Payment Terms: Payment for this Purchase Order shall be made in three (3) equal installments: 30% upon acceptance of this Purchase Order, 40% upon completion of fieldwork in Chile Santiago, and 30% upon delivery and approval of the final Biologist report. All payments shall be processed via bank transfer to the account designated by BioConsult Chile SpA. Invoicing must comply with the electronic invoice (factura electrónica) requirements of the Servicio de Impuestos Nacionales in Chile Santiago.
3.4 – Compliance & Regulations: The Biologist shall adhere to all environmental regulations established by the Comisión Ambiental Metropolitana de Chile Santiago, as well as the Chilean Environmental Law (Ley 19.300). All field sampling in Chile Santiago shall be conducted in accordance with the permits issued by the relevant municipal and regional authorities.
3.5 – Confidentiality: All data, samples, and findings generated by the Biologist under this Purchase Order shall be treated as proprietary information of the Instituto de Investigaciones Ambientales de Santiago. No portion of the research conducted in Chile Santiago may be published or disclosed without prior written consent.
3.6 – Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days written notice. In the event of early termination, the Biologist shall be compensated for all services rendered up to the termination date in Chile Santiago.
3.7 – Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the civil and commercial laws of the Republic of Chile. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order related to Biologist services in Chile Santiago shall be resolved through the competent courts of the Metropolitan Region of Chile Santiago.
By signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to all terms specified in this Purchase Order for the engagement of a qualified Biologist to provide professional ecological services in Chile Santiago. This document is valid for a period of one hundred eighty (180) days from the date of issue, after which a new Purchase Order must be generated.
