This Purchase Order is issued by the Ankara Metropolitan Research & Development Institute to procure the professional services of a qualified Biologist for a period of twelve (12) months, commencing on 1 September 2025. The Biologist shall be assigned to the Department of Environmental and Molecular Biology located within the AMRDI campus in Çankaya, Ankara, Turkey. The scope of work for the Biologist includes, but is not limited to, the following duties:

4.1 This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey and shall be interpreted in accordance with the Turkish Code of Obligations (Türk Borçlar Kanunu, No. 6098) and applicable regulations of the Ankara provincial labor authority.
4.2 The Biologist engaged under this Purchase Order must hold a minimum of a Master's degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution recognized by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) in Turkey. A minimum of five (5) years of post-graduate laboratory experience is required.
4.3 All services rendered by the Biologist shall be performed at the AMRDI facility in Ankara, Turkey, unless prior written authorization is granted by the Procurement Director for off-site fieldwork within the Ankara metropolitan area or surrounding provinces.
4.4 The Supplier shall ensure that the Biologist is fully insured under the Turkish Social Security Institution (SGK) framework for the entire duration of this Purchase Order. Proof of insurance enrollment shall be submitted within ten (10) business days of the commencement date.
4.5 Payment shall be made in Turkish Lira (TRY) via bank transfer to the account designated by the Supplier. Invoices must reference this Purchase Order number (PO-TR-ANK-2025-04872) and shall be submitted on a monthly basis by the 5th of each following month.
4.6 Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of termination, the Supplier shall provide a full handover of all research data, samples, and documentation pertaining to the Biologist's work within fourteen (14) days of the termination effective date.
4.7 All intellectual property generated by the Biologist during the term of this Purchase Order shall be the exclusive property of the Ankara Metropolitan Research & Development Institute.
The Biologist shall report for duty at the AMRDI campus in Çankaya, Ankara, Turkey, no later than 08:30 on 1 September 2025. The Supplier is responsible for coordinating all logistics, including transportation to Ankara if the Biologist is based outside the city, and for ensuring that all necessary work permits and residency documentation are in order prior to the commencement date in accordance with Turkish immigration law.
NOTE: This Purchase Order is subject to approval by the Ankara Metropolitan Research & Development Institute's Board of Directors. No obligations shall arise until the final signed copy of this Purchase Order is returned to the Supplier. All communications regarding this Purchase Order shall be directed to the Procurement Office in Ankara, Turkey. The Supplier acknowledges that the Biologist will be operating within a regulated research environment and must comply with all biosafety protocols (BSL-2 minimum) established by the Turkish Ministry of Health.For and on behalf of the Buyer:
