1. This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the specific labour and commercial regulations applicable in Dubai, United Arab Emirates Dubai. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Dubai Courts.
2. The Chef engaged under this Purchase Order must hold a valid professional culinary certification recognised by the Dubai Municipality and must possess a minimum of ten (10) years of documented experience in a senior kitchen role within the hospitality sector of the United Arab Emirates Dubai or an equivalent international market.
3. The Supplier shall ensure that the Chef is in full compliance with all United Arab Emirates Dubai immigration, labour, and health regulations. The Supplier bears full responsibility for the accuracy of all documents submitted in support of the Chef's work permit and visa application.
4. Payment shall be made in AED (UAE Dirham) via bank transfer to the Supplier's designated corporate account within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of a valid tax invoice. Late payments shall attract interest at the rate of 1.5% per month as stipulated under UAE commercial law.
5. The Buyer reserves the right to conduct a probationary period of three (3) months for the Chef. During this period, either party may terminate this Purchase Order with fourteen (14) days' written notice without penalty, subject to settlement of all accrued and payable amounts.
6. All food preparation, storage, and handling practices performed by the Chef must strictly adhere to the Dubai Municipality Food Safety Department guidelines and the HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) framework as enforced in the United Arab Emirates Dubai.
7. The Chef shall be required to work a minimum of six (6) days per week, with a standard shift of ten (10) hours per day, in accordance with the UAE Labour Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021) and any applicable Dubai-specific amendments.
8. Confidentiality: The Chef shall treat all proprietary recipes, supplier lists, menu concepts, and operational data of the Buyer as strictly confidential. This obligation survives the termination of this Purchase Order for a period of two (2) years.
9. Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations under this Purchase Order due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to government-mandated closures, pandemics, or natural disasters affecting the United Arab Emirates Dubai.
10. This Purchase Order becomes effective upon written acceptance and signature by both parties. No amendment to this Purchase Order shall be valid unless executed in writing and signed by authorised representatives of both the Buyer and the Supplier.

The Chef shall report for duty at the Buyer's restaurant premises in Dubai Marina, United Arab Emirates Dubai, no later than 08:00 AM on 1 August 2025. All onboarding, orientation, and kitchen induction activities shall be completed within the first five (5) working days of the Chef's arrival. The Supplier shall coordinate all logistics related to the Chef's travel, accommodation handover, and initial equipment delivery prior to the commencement date.
