- This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and shall be interpreted in accordance with the Pakistan Contract Act, 1872, as applicable in Islamabad, Pakistan.
- The Chemical Engineer shall hold a valid Professional Engineer (PE) license issued by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and shall maintain professional indemnity insurance with a minimum coverage of PKR 10,000,000 throughout the duration of this Purchase Order.
- All deliverables, including process flow diagrams, HAZOP reports, EIA documentation, and commissioning reports, shall be submitted in both English and Urdu to comply with Pakistan Islamabad municipal and federal regulatory requirements.
- The Chemical Engineer shall adhere to all safety standards set by the Pakistan Occupational Safety and Health (POSHO) Authority and shall conduct all on-site activities within the Pakistan Islamabad industrial zone in full compliance with local by-laws.
- Payment shall be released in milestones: 30% upon acceptance of this Purchase Order, 40% upon completion of Phase I design and HAZOP, 20% upon successful commissioning, and 10% upon final acceptance of all deliverables. All payments shall be made via bank transfer to the account designated by the Chemical Engineer.
- The Chemical Engineer shall not subcontract any portion of the work without prior written consent from the Buyer. Any unauthorized subcontracting shall constitute a material breach of this Purchase Order.
- Confidentiality: All proprietary process data, trade secrets, and operational information shared under this Purchase Order shall remain the exclusive property of Pakistan Industrial Engineering Solutions (Pvt.) Ltd. The Chemical Engineer shall sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) prior to commencing work.
- Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through arbitration in Islamabad, Pakistan, in accordance with the Arbitration Act, 1940 of Pakistan. The seat of arbitration shall be Islamabad, Pakistan.
- This Purchase Order shall remain valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Failure to accept by the expiry date shall render this Purchase Order null and void.
- The Chemical Engineer shall be responsible for all travel, accommodation, and per-diem expenses incurred while performing duties at the Pakistan Islamabad project site, unless otherwise specified in a written amendment to this Purchase Order.
By signing below, the parties acknowledge that this Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement for the procurement of Chemical Engineer professional services in Pakistan Islamabad. Both parties confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to all terms, conditions, and specifications outlined herein.
