This Purchase Order is issued by Westside Educational Solutions, Inc. to formally authorize the procurement of professional Curriculum Developer services to be rendered in the United States Los Angeles metropolitan area. The selected vendor, BrightPath Curriculum Consulting LLC, has been engaged to provide a senior-level Curriculum Developer who will design, develop, and deliver a comprehensive K-12 STEM curriculum framework for our network of twelve partner schools located throughout Los Angeles County, California.

The Curriculum Developer shall be responsible for aligning all instructional materials with the California Common Core State Standards, the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), and the specific pedagogical requirements established by the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) and the California Department of Education. All deliverables must reflect the diverse cultural and linguistic landscape of the United States Los Angeles community, ensuring accessibility for English Language Learners (ELL) and students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

The Curriculum Developer team shall produce the following deliverables, all to be completed no later than August 15, 2025:

(a) A 60-page Curriculum Framework Document outlining learning objectives, sequencing, and cross-disciplinary connections for all twelve partner schools in the Los Angeles area.

(b) Complete lesson plans for 36 instructional units (three per grade level, K-12), each including differentiated instruction strategies, formative and summative assessments, and technology integration guidelines.

(c) A digital resource library hosted on the Westside Educational Solutions LMS platform, containing video demonstrations, interactive simulations, and printable handouts.

(d) A 40-page Teacher Implementation Guide with pacing calendars, classroom management suggestions, and parent communication templates in both English and Spanish.

(e) A final project report summarizing methodology, outcomes, and recommendations for the 2026-2027 academic year, to be presented to the Board of Directors of Westside Educational Solutions in Los Angeles, California.

(a) Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Los Angeles, California, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

(b) Payment Schedule: 30% upon execution of this Purchase Order, 40% upon delivery of the Curriculum Framework Document and completion of the first four professional development workshops, and 30% upon final acceptance of all deliverables by the VP of Academic Operations.

(c) Intellectual Property: All curriculum materials, lesson plans, assessments, and digital resources created under this Purchase Order shall become the sole and exclusive property of Westside Educational Solutions, Inc. The Curriculum Developer and BrightPath Curriculum Consulting LLC retain no rights to reproduce, distribute, or license these materials without prior written consent.

(d) Compliance: The Curriculum Developer must comply with all applicable federal and California state regulations, including but not limited to the California Education Code, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). All materials must be accessible and inclusive of the diverse student population in United States Los Angeles schools.

(e) Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days written notice. In the event of termination for convenience, Westside Educational Solutions shall pay for all services rendered and non-cancellable expenses incurred up to the date of termination.

(f) Insurance: The vendor shall maintain general liability insurance of no less than $2,000,000 per occurrence and professional liability (errors and omissions) insurance of no less than $1,000,000 throughout the duration of this Purchase Order.

NOTE: All on-site work related to this Purchase Order, including Curriculum Developer consultations, teacher training workshops, and stakeholder meetings, shall be conducted at the Westside Educational Solutions headquarters located at 4200 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles, California 90010, or at the designated partner school sites within Los Angeles County. Travel expenses within the United States Los Angeles metropolitan area are included in the unit prices listed above.

By signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to all terms, conditions, and specifications outlined in this Purchase Order for the procurement of Curriculum Developer services in the United States Los Angeles region.
