Amount in words: Seventy Million Six Hundred Sixty-Five Thousand Myanmar Kyat only. All prices are inclusive of 5% Value Added Tax as per Myanmar tax regulations. Delivery and installation at the Myanmar Yangon customs facility are included in the above pricing.
Terms and Conditions- This Purchase Order is issued in accordance with the Government Procurement Rules of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and the internal procurement guidelines of the Department of Customs & Excise, Yangon Regional Office.
- The supplier shall deliver all goods to the Myanmar Yangon Customs House at 125 Strand Road, Yangon, no later than 15 July 2025. Late delivery shall incur a penalty of 0.5% of the total Purchase Order value per day of delay, up to a maximum of 10%.
- All equipment must be new, unused, and accompanied by valid manufacturer warranties of no less than two (2) years. The Customs Officer responsible for acceptance shall inspect all items upon delivery and issue a written acceptance or rejection notice within five (5) business days.
- Payment shall be made via government bank transfer to the supplier's registered account within thirty (30) days of the Customs Officer's written acceptance of the delivered goods and receipt of a valid tax invoice.
- The supplier warrants that all goods comply with Myanmar import regulations, safety standards, and any applicable technical specifications set forth by the Yangon Customs authority. Any non-compliant items shall be replaced at the supplier's sole expense.
- This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through the Myanmar Arbitration Centre in Yangon.
- The Customs Officer, U Kyaw Min Htun, holds full authority to execute this Purchase Order on behalf of the Yangon Regional Customs Office. No modification to this Purchase Order shall be valid unless made in writing and signed by both parties.
- Confidentiality: All information contained in this Purchase Order, including pricing, specifications, and operational details of the Myanmar Yangon customs facility, shall be treated as confidential and shall not be disclosed to any third party without prior written consent of the Customs Officer.
- This Purchase Order constitutes the entire agreement between the parties regarding the procurement described herein and supersedes all prior negotiations, representations, or agreements, whether written or oral.
This Purchase Order has been reviewed and approved in accordance with the delegation of financial authority for the Yangon Regional Customs Office. The undersigned Customs Officer confirms that the procurement described herein is necessary for the continued and efficient operation of customs inspection, revenue collection, and trade facilitation services at the Myanmar Yangon port and land border checkpoints.
