The Data Scientist engaged under this Purchase Order shall be based at the Meridian Analytics Group headquarters located at 128 Avenue des Champs-Élysées, 75008 Paris, France. All work deliverables, client-facing presentations, and internal reporting associated with this Data Scientist role will be conducted in the France Paris office environment, in compliance with French labor regulations (Code du travail) and applicable data protection standards under the GDPR and the French national implementation (Loi Informatique et Libertés).

The Data Scientist engaged pursuant to this Purchase Order shall perform the following duties while stationed in France Paris:

• Design, build, and optimize machine learning models (supervised, unsupervised, and deep learning architectures) for client-facing analytics products.
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines ingesting structured and unstructured data from multiple sources into the company's data lake hosted in the Paris region.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis, statistical modeling, and hypothesis testing to support business intelligence initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, and business development) located at the France Paris headquarters to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions.
• Produce technical documentation, model cards, and reproducibility reports in accordance with the company's internal governance framework.
• Mentor junior analysts and participate in internal knowledge-sharing sessions held at the France Paris office.
• Ensure all data processing activities comply with GDPR, the French data protection framework, and internal data governance policies.

1. Governing Law: This Purchase Order and the services described herein shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the French Republic. Any disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tribunal de Commerce de Paris.
2. Performance Period: The Data Scientist engagement shall commence on 01 September 2025 and continue for a period of twelve (12) months, unless terminated earlier in accordance with Clause 7.
3. Work Location: All services shall be rendered at the Meridian Analytics Group premises in France Paris (75008). Remote work may be authorized for up to two (2) days per week at the discretion of the project manager, provided that the Data Scientist remains within the France Paris metropolitan area.
4. Payment Schedule: Invoices shall be submitted monthly in arrears. Payment shall be made within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of a valid invoice bearing the Purchase Order number PO-2025-FR-04871.
5. Confidentiality: The Data Scientist shall be bound by a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) and shall not disclose any proprietary information, trade secrets, or client data encountered during the engagement in France Paris.
6. Intellectual Property: All work product, models, code, and documentation created by the Data Scientist in the course of this engagement shall be the exclusive property of Meridian Analytics Group SAS.
7. Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of material breach, termination may be effected with seven (7) days' notice.
8. Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government mandates, or public health emergencies affecting the France Paris region.
9. Compliance: The vendor shall ensure that the Data Scientist holds all necessary work authorizations to perform professional activities in France and that all French social security and tax obligations are met.
