This Purchase Order is issued by Savanna Analytics Group Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Buyer") to Apex Data Solutions & Consulting (hereinafter referred to as the "Supplier") for the procurement and engagement of a qualified Data Scientist to perform advanced analytical, machine learning, and statistical modelling services. The Data Scientist shall be physically based and operational in Ghana Accra, working primarily from the Buyer's office located at 12 Independence Avenue, Ridge, Ghana Accra, with a minimum of four (4) days per week on-site and one (1) day permitted for remote work.

The scope of work for the Data Scientist under this Purchase Order includes, but is not limited to: designing and implementing predictive analytics models; developing and maintaining machine learning pipelines; conducting exploratory data analysis on datasets relevant to the West African telecommunications and financial services sectors; producing data visualisation dashboards for executive stakeholders; and providing technical mentorship to the Buyer's in-house analytics team based in Ghana Accra.

4.1 This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between the Buyer and the Supplier upon full execution by both parties. All services described herein shall be rendered in accordance with the professional standards expected of a Data Scientist operating within the Republic of Ghana.

4.2 The Data Scientist engaged under this Purchase Order shall comply with all applicable data protection laws in Ghana, including the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), and shall ensure that all datasets processed in Ghana Accra are handled in strict accordance with the Buyer's internal data governance policies.

4.3 The Supplier warrants that the Data Scientist assigned to this Purchase Order holds a minimum of a Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a closely related quantitative discipline, and possesses a minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in applied data science, with at least two (2) years of experience working in or with African market datasets.

4.4 All work deliverables, including but not limited to code repositories, model artefacts, documentation, and analytical reports produced by the Data Scientist in the course of this Purchase Order, shall be the exclusive intellectual property of the Buyer. The Data Scientist shall sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) prior to commencing work in Ghana Accra.

4.5 Payment shall be made in Ghanaian Cedis (GHS) via bank transfer to the Supplier's designated account. Invoices shall be submitted monthly by the 5th business day, and payment shall be processed within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of a valid invoice. Late payments shall attract interest at the rate of 2% per month as stipulated under Ghanaian commercial law.

4.6 The Buyer reserves the right to terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice if the Data Scientist fails to meet the performance benchmarks outlined in the Service Level Agreement (SLA) annexed to this document. In the event of early termination, the Supplier shall be compensated for all services rendered up to the date of termination.

4.7 Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through mediation in Ghana Accra before escalation to the courts of competent jurisdiction in the Republic of Ghana. The governing law of this Purchase Order shall be the laws of the Republic of Ghana.

The Data Scientist shall commence duties no later than 1 July 2025 at the Buyer's premises in Ghana Accra. The initial onboarding period shall be two (2) weeks, during which the Data Scientist shall familiarise themselves with the Buyer's data infrastructure, existing models, and organisational objectives. Full operational capacity is expected by 15 July 2025. The engagement period under this Purchase Order shall run from 1 July 2025 through 30 June 2026, subject to renewal by mutual written agreement.

By signing below, both parties acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to all terms set forth in this Purchase Order for the engagement of a Data Scientist in Ghana Accra. This document is executed in two (2) original copies, one for each party.
