This Purchase Order is issued to procure the professional services of a qualified Data Scientist to be engaged on a full-time basis at the buyer's primary office in New Zealand Auckland. The Data Scientist shall be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying advanced analytical models, machine learning pipelines, and predictive analytics solutions to support the buyer's strategic business objectives. The engagement is specifically tailored to the New Zealand Auckland market, and the Data Scientist is expected to demonstrate familiarity with local regulatory frameworks, including the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and the Information Privacy Act, as they pertain to data handling and processing within the Auckland metropolitan region.

The Data Scientist shall report directly to the Chief Technology Officer of Pacific Analytics Solutions Ltd. and will collaborate with cross-functional teams based in the Auckland CBD office. All deliverables, code repositories, and documentation produced under this Purchase Order must be stored on the buyer's secure infrastructure located in New Zealand Auckland, in compliance with local data sovereignty requirements.

This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved in the courts of New Zealand Auckland, and the parties agree to the jurisdiction of the Auckland District Court.
The Data Scientist engaged under this Purchase Order must hold a valid New Zealand work visa or be a New Zealand citizen/permanent resident. The Seller warrants that the Data Scientist meets all immigration and employment eligibility requirements for work in New Zealand Auckland.
All intellectual property, models, code, and analytical outputs created by the Data Scientist during the term of this Purchase Order shall be the sole property of Pacific Analytics Solutions Ltd. upon full payment of the Purchase Order value.
The Data Scientist shall comply with all New Zealand employment standards, including the Employment Relations Act 2000, the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, and applicable Auckland regional workplace regulations.
Payment shall be made via bank transfer to the Seller's nominated New Zealand bank account within 30 days of receipt of a valid tax invoice. Late payments shall accrue interest at the rate prescribed under the New Zealand Commerce Act 1986.
The Seller may not subcontract any portion of the Data Scientist engagement without prior written consent from the Buyer. Any approved subcontracting must remain within the New Zealand Auckland metropolitan area.
This Purchase Order may be terminated by either party with 30 days' written notice. In the event of termination, the Buyer shall pay for all services rendered up to the termination date, pro-rated on a monthly basis.
The Data Scientist shall maintain strict confidentiality regarding all proprietary data, algorithms, and business strategies of the Buyer. This obligation survives the termination of this Purchase Order for a period of five (5) years.
All data processed by the Data Scientist under this Purchase Order must be stored and processed within New Zealand, specifically within the Auckland region, in accordance with New Zealand data residency and privacy legislation.
This Purchase Order constitutes the entire agreement between the parties regarding the procurement of Data Scientist services and supersedes all prior negotiations, representations, or agreements relating to the subject matter herein.

By signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to the terms, conditions, and scope of work outlined in this Purchase Order for the engagement of a Data Scientist in New Zealand Auckland. This Purchase Order becomes effective upon execution by both the Buyer and the Seller.
