This Purchase Order is issued to procure the professional services of a qualified Data Scientist to be embedded within the Meridian Analytics Group Ltd team based in New Zealand Wellington. The Data Scientist shall be responsible for the following duties and deliverables throughout the contract period:

• Design, develop, and deploy advanced machine learning models and statistical analysis frameworks to support business intelligence initiatives across all Wellington-based operations.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and predictive modelling using industry-standard tools including Python, R, TensorFlow, and Apache Spark.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in New Zealand Wellington to translate complex data insights into actionable strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
• Build and maintain data pipelines, automated reporting dashboards, and real-time analytics infrastructure hosted on cloud platforms accessible from the Wellington office.
• Provide weekly progress reports and monthly performance reviews to the Buyer's project management office located in Te Aro, Wellington.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the development of the Data Scientist knowledge base within the organisation.
• Ensure full compliance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and all applicable data governance standards when handling sensitive datasets.

Payment shall be made in monthly instalments of NZD 41,237.08 (inclusive of GST) via direct bank transfer to the Supplier's nominated account. Invoices are to be submitted by the 25th of each month for services rendered in the preceding calendar month. The Buyer reserves the right to withhold payment for any deliverables not meeting the acceptance criteria outlined in Section 5 of this Purchase Order.

All work products delivered by the Data Scientist shall be subject to a formal acceptance review conducted by the Buyer's Technical Lead in New Zealand Wellington. Acceptance shall be confirmed in writing within ten (10) business days of submission. Failure to meet the agreed quality benchmarks, including model accuracy thresholds of no less than 92% on validation datasets, shall entitle the Buyer to request remediation at no additional cost under this Purchase Order.

• This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of New Zealand and shall be interpreted in accordance with the New Zealand Contract and Commercial Law Act 2014.
• The Data Scientist engaged under this Purchase Order shall be required to work primarily from the Buyer's premises in New Zealand Wellington, with a maximum of two (2) days per week permitted for remote work, subject to prior written approval.
• All intellectual property, models, code, and analytical outputs created during the term of this Purchase Order shall be the sole property of Meridian Analytics Group Ltd.
• The Supplier warrants that the Data Scientist shall hold a minimum of a Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline, and a minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in applied data science.
• Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of termination, the Buyer shall pay for all services rendered up to the effective date of termination.
• The Supplier shall maintain professional indemnity insurance of no less than NZD 5,000,000 and public liability insurance of no less than NZD 10,000,000 for the duration of this Purchase Order.
• All personal data processed by the Data Scientist in the course of this engagement shall be handled in strict compliance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and the Information Privacy Act 2020.
• Disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through mediation in Wellington, New Zealand, in accordance with the New Zealand Disputes Resolution Act 2010, before escalation to the District Court of Wellington.

By signing below, the parties acknowledge and agree to all terms, conditions, and obligations set forth in this Purchase Order for the engagement of a Data Scientist in New Zealand Wellington.
