The Data Scientist shall be physically based and perform all duties within the Philippines Manila metropolitan area, specifically at the buyer's office located in Makati City, Metro Manila. The engagement is structured as a professional services contract for a period of twelve (12) months, commencing on July 1, 2025, and concluding on June 30, 2026, unless otherwise extended by mutual written agreement of both parties.

The Data Scientist engaged under this Purchase Order shall perform the following duties and responsibilities while stationed in Philippines Manila:

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and predictive analytics solutions for the buyer's enterprise data infrastructure.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis, statistical modeling, and advanced data visualization using tools including Python, R, TensorFlow, and Apache Spark.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the Philippines Manila office to translate business requirements into actionable data-driven strategies.
• Build and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and automated reporting dashboards for executive stakeholders.
• Provide weekly progress reports and monthly performance reviews to the buyer's Project Management Office.
• Ensure compliance with the Philippines Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) in all data handling activities.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the internal knowledge-sharing program at the Philippines Manila headquarters.

Payment shall be made on a monthly basis via bank transfer to the supplier's designated account. Invoices must be submitted by the 5th business day of each month. The buyer reserves the right to withhold payment for any month in which the Data Scientist fails to meet the agreed-upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as outlined in the attached Service Level Agreement.

1. This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between the Buyer and the Supplier upon signature by both authorized representatives.
2. The Data Scientist shall report to the buyer's office in Philippines Manila on a Monday-through-Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Philippine Standard Time (PST), with a one-hour lunch break.
3. The Supplier guarantees that the Data Scientist assigned to this Purchase Order holds a minimum of a Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field, and possesses at least five (5) years of professional experience.
4. All intellectual property, models, code, and documentation produced by the Data Scientist during the term of this engagement shall be the sole property of the Buyer.
5. The Supplier shall maintain professional liability insurance with a minimum coverage of PHP 5,000,000 for the duration of the contract.
6. Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of termination, the Buyer shall pay for all services rendered up to the termination date.
7. All disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the rules of the Philippine Dispute Resolution Center, Inc. (PDRCI), with the seat of arbitration in Philippines Manila.
8. This Purchase Order is governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
