This Purchase Order is issued by Atlantic Analytics Group (Pty) Ltd (hereinafter referred to as the "Buyer") to Quantum Insight Data Solutions (Pty) Ltd (hereinafter referred to as the "Supplier") for the engagement of a qualified Data Scientist to perform advanced analytics, machine learning model development, and data strategy consulting services. All services under this Purchase Order shall be rendered in South Africa Cape Town, specifically at the Buyer's premises located in Sea Point, Cape Town, unless otherwise agreed in writing by both parties.

The Supplier is hereby engaged to provide the services of a senior Data Scientist for a period of six (6) months, commencing on 1 July 2025 and concluding on 31 December 2025. The Data Scientist shall be responsible for the following deliverables and activities, all to be executed in South Africa Cape Town:

• Design, develop, and deploy predictive machine learning models for the Buyer's retail analytics platform, with a focus on customer segmentation and demand forecasting.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis on datasets exceeding 500 million records, utilizing Python, R, and SQL within the Buyer's on-premise data infrastructure located in Cape Town.
• Develop and maintain natural language processing (NLP) pipelines for sentiment analysis of customer feedback collected across South African markets.
• Produce bi-weekly technical reports and executive presentations for the Buyer's leadership team, to be delivered at the Sea Point office in Cape Town.
• Collaborate with the Buyer's internal engineering team to integrate Data Scientist outputs into production microservices hosted on the Buyer's cloud infrastructure.
• Provide mentorship and knowledge transfer sessions to the Buyer's junior analysts, ensuring sustainable capability building within the South Africa Cape Town team.
• Ensure full compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) of South Africa in all data handling, storage, and processing activities.

Payment shall be made via electronic funds transfer (EFT) to the Supplier's designated bank account in South Africa. Invoices shall be submitted monthly in arrears, and payment is due within thirty (30) calendar days of the invoice date. All amounts are denominated in South African Rand (ZAR) and are subject to the prevailing VAT rate as determined by the South African Revenue Service (SARS).

• Location of Services: All services under this Purchase Order shall be performed primarily at the Buyer's office in Sea Point, Cape Town, South Africa. Remote work may be permitted for up to two (2) days per week, subject to the Buyer's prior written approval. The Data Scientist must remain physically present in South Africa Cape Town for all client-facing meetings, workshops, and on-site deliverable presentations.
• Intellectual Property: All models, code, algorithms, reports, and documentation produced by the Data Scientist in the course of this engagement shall be the sole and exclusive property of the Buyer. The Supplier warrants that no third-party intellectual property rights are infringed by the deliverables.
• Confidentiality: The Data Scientist and the Supplier shall maintain strict confidentiality regarding all proprietary data, business strategies, and technical information accessed during the engagement. This obligation shall survive the termination of this Purchase Order for a period of three (3) years.
• Compliance: The Supplier and the Data Scientist shall comply with all applicable South African legislation, including but not limited to POPIA, the Basic Conditions of Employment Act, and the Occupational Health and Safety Act, as applicable to the South Africa Cape Town operational environment.
• Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of termination, the Buyer shall pay for all services rendered up to the effective date of termination.
• Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through mediation in Cape Town, South Africa, in accordance with the rules of the Arbitration Foundation of Southern Africa (AFSA).
• Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

By signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to all terms, conditions, and obligations set forth in this Purchase Order for the engagement of a Data Scientist in South Africa Cape Town.
