All print editions of The Economist shall be delivered via registered courier to the following addresses in and around New Delhi, India, no later than 10:00 AM IST on the day of publication (Thursday):
- Primary Delivery: Meridian Corporate Holdings Pvt. Ltd., 14 Connaught Place, New Delhi, Delhi 110001, India (50 copies)
- Secondary Delivery: Meridian Regional Office, Tower B, Cyber City, Gurugram, Haryana 122002, India (15 copies)
- Tertiary Delivery: Meridian Noida Centre, Sector 62, Noida, Uttar Pradesh 201309, India (10 copies)
Digital access credentials for The Economist platform shall be provisioned within five (5) business days of confirmed payment. The onboarding and training workshop for the digital platform shall be conducted at the New Delhi headquarters on a date mutually agreed upon, no later than 30 July 2025.
- Payment shall be made within thirty (30) days from the date of invoice receipt via NEFT/RTGS to the supplier's designated bank account in India. The supplier shall provide a valid GST-compliant tax invoice in accordance with the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, as applicable in India.
- All amounts are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable customs duties, import levies, and service taxes as mandated by the Government of India for the import of periodical publications and digital services.
- In the event of a currency fluctuation affecting the supplier's international transfer costs, no additional charges shall be passed to the buyer beyond the amounts specified in this Purchase Order. The Exchange Control Management Act, 1947, and RBI foreign exchange regulations shall be strictly observed.
- Any dispute arising from this Purchase Order shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in New Delhi, India, and governed by the laws of India.
- The supplier warrants that all digital content of The Economist provided under this Purchase Order is free from intellectual property encumbrances and is licensed for corporate use within the territory of India.
- Early termination of this Purchase Order by either party shall require a written notice of sixty (60) days. In such an event, a pro-rata refund shall be calculated for unused digital access periods.
- This Purchase Order is valid for acceptance within thirty (30) days from the date of issue. Failure to accept within this period shall render this document null and void.
This Purchase Order for The Economist corporate subscription and digital services is issued under the authority of the Board of Directors of Meridian Corporate Holdings Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi, India. The supplier is requested to confirm acceptance by signing below and returning a copy of this Purchase Order to the Procurement Division within the validity period stated above.
