TERMS AND CONDITIONS
  1. This Purchase Order is issued by Al-Riyadh Business Publications & Media Group for the procurement of The Economist publications, digital access, and related materials for use within Saudi Arabia Riyadh and its surrounding metropolitan areas.
  2. All items listed in this Purchase Order shall be delivered to the buyer's registered address in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, no later than the Required Delivery Date stated above. Late delivery beyond 14 calendar days entitles the buyer to cancel this Purchase Order without penalty.
  3. The supplier shall ensure that all The Economist print materials comply with Saudi Arabia Riyadh publishing regulations, including the General Commission for Audiovisual Media (GCAM) guidelines and the Saudi Press Agency content standards applicable to foreign publications distributed in Saudi Arabia Riyadh.
  4. Payment shall be made via bank transfer to the supplier's designated account within 30 calendar days of receipt of a valid ZATCA-compliant tax invoice. The invoice must reference this Purchase Order number (PO-2025-RA-0472) and include the buyer's Saudi Arabia Riyadh VAT registration number.
  5. All digital access licenses for The Economist platform shall be activated within 5 business days of the delivery date. The supplier guarantees 99.5% uptime for the digital platform accessible from Saudi Arabia Riyadh IP addresses throughout the subscription period.
  6. The supplier warrants that all The Economist content provided under this Purchase Order is free from intellectual property encumbrances and is licensed for commercial and institutional use within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with primary distribution centered in Riyadh.
  7. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the commercial courts in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
  8. This Purchase Order becomes effective upon written acceptance by both parties. No modification to this Purchase Order shall be valid unless executed in writing and signed by authorized representatives of both the buyer in Saudi Arabia Riyadh and the supplier.
  9. The supplier shall provide a dedicated account manager based in or covering the Saudi Arabia Riyadh region to handle all post-purchase support, content queries, and subscription management for The Economist materials.
  10. All packaging and shipping materials must comply with Saudi Arabia Riyadh environmental regulations. The supplier is responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, and logistics costs associated with delivering The Economist publications to Saudi Arabia Riyadh.
