All physical Economist print subscriptions and printed materials referenced in this Purchase Order shall be delivered to the buyer's registered premises in United Kingdom Manchester at the address specified in Section 1. The supplier shall ensure that all Economist publications are dispatched within five (5) working days of receipt and acceptance of this Purchase Order. Digital and institutional licences shall be activated and made accessible to the buyer's designated users within three (3) working days of confirmed payment. The supplier acknowledges that the primary operational base for this Purchase Order is located in the United Kingdom Manchester metropolitan area, and all delivery scheduling, customs documentation (where applicable), and logistical coordination shall reflect this geographic requirement.

This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between Northgate Media & Research Ltd. (Buyer) and The Economist Group (Supplier) upon written acceptance by both parties. All terms herein govern the procurement of Economist publications, digital services, and associated intellectual property licences.
Payment shall be made via BACS bank transfer to the Supplier's designated account within thirty (30) calendar days of the invoice date. Late payments shall incur interest at a rate of 2% per month in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998, applicable within the United Kingdom.
The Supplier warrants that all Economist content, including but not limited to weekly editions, Intelligence Unit reports, archive materials, and event access, shall be of professional quality, free from material defects, and delivered in accordance with the specifications outlined in this Purchase Order.
Any changes, amendments, or modifications to this Purchase Order must be made in writing and signed by authorised representatives of both parties. Verbal agreements or informal communications shall not alter the terms of this document.
The Supplier shall maintain full confidentiality regarding the buyer's procurement details, subscription volumes, and internal usage data. This obligation shall survive the termination of this Purchase Order for a period of three (3) years.
In the event of non-delivery or material breach by the Supplier, the Buyer reserves the right to cancel this Purchase Order in whole or in part and seek a full refund of any amounts paid for undelivered Economist goods or services.
This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with this Purchase Order shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom, with venue in Manchester.
All Economist digital licences granted under this Purchase Order are non-transferable and restricted to the named entity and its employees operating from the United Kingdom Manchester premises, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
The Supplier shall provide a comprehensive invoice referencing this Purchase Order number (PO-UK-MAN-2025-04872) for all billing purposes. Invoices not referencing this Purchase Order number may be rejected and payment deferred.

This Purchase Order is issued by the undersigned authorised representative of Northgate Media & Research Ltd. and is subject to written acceptance by The Economist Group. By signing below, both parties confirm their agreement to all terms, conditions, line items, and delivery specifications contained within this Purchase Order for the procurement of Economist publications and services in the United Kingdom Manchester region.
