This Purchase Order is issued by Andina Publishing & Media Group S.A.C. to formally request and authorize the procurement of professional Editor services to be rendered in Peru Lima. The Editor shall be responsible for the complete editorial management, revision, proofreading, and quality assurance of all published materials produced by the buyer's publishing division during the contracted period. The Editor's duties shall be performed primarily at the buyer's offices located in the San Isidro district of Lima, Peru, with the possibility of remote collaboration as mutually agreed upon.

Scope and Deliverables: The Editor engaged under this Purchase Order shall deliver all editorial work in accordance with the Andina Publishing & Media Group's internal style guide, which follows the RAE (Real Academia Española) norms for Spanish-language content and the Chicago Manual of Style for English-language content. All deliverables must be submitted in digital format (Microsoft Word and PDF) to the buyer's editorial team in Lima, Peru.
Timeline and Milestones: The Editor shall complete all assigned tasks within the timeframe specified in the project schedule. The initial deliverable batch is due by July 15, 2025, and the final complete set of edited materials must be delivered no later than September 30, 2025. Any delays must be communicated in writing at least five (5) business days in advance.
Payment Schedule: Payment shall be made in three (3) installments: 40% upon acceptance of the first milestone deliverable, 35% upon completion of all editorial work, and 25% upon final quality assurance sign-off. All payments shall be processed via bank transfer to the vendor's account in Peru, in Peruvian Soles (PEN).
Confidentiality and Intellectual Property: The Editor agrees to maintain strict confidentiality regarding all manuscripts, unpublished content, and proprietary information accessed during the engagement in Peru Lima. All intellectual property rights in the final edited works shall remain exclusively with Andina Publishing & Media Group S.A.C.
Compliance with Peruvian Law: This Purchase Order and the resulting service contract shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Peru, including the Peruvian Civil Code, the General Tax Law (Ley General del Impuesto a la Renta), and applicable labor regulations in the Lima metropolitan area.
Work Location and Conditions: The Editor shall perform the majority of the work at the buyer's premises in San Isidro, Lima, Peru, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (PET). Remote work may be authorized for up to two (2) days per week at the Editor's discretion, provided all deliverable deadlines are met.
Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of early termination, the Editor shall be compensated for all work completed and accepted up to the date of termination, as documented in the project log maintained in Lima, Peru.
Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through mediation in the city of Lima, Peru, in accordance with the provisions of the Peruvian Arbitration Law (Ley de Arbitraje, D.S. 096-2009-PCM). If mediation fails, the matter shall be submitted to the competent courts of Lima, Peru.
Acceptance and Validity: This Purchase Order becomes effective upon signature by both parties. It is valid for a period of one hundred eighty (180) days from the date of issue. The vendor must confirm acceptance in writing within ten (10) business days of receipt.
