- This Purchase Order is issued by Metro Manila Infrastructure Development Corporation for the procurement of professional services rendered by a licensed Electrical Engineer operating within the Philippines Manila metropolitan area. All deliverables shall comply with the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC), the National Building Code of the Philippines, and applicable regulations of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
- The Electrical Engineer shall maintain a valid PRC license throughout the duration of this engagement. A copy of the current license and good standing certificate must be submitted prior to commencement of work. Any lapse in licensure shall constitute grounds for immediate termination of this Purchase Order.
- All services described in this Purchase Order shall be performed at the designated project sites within the Philippines Manila region, including but not limited to Quezon City, Makati City, and Pasig City. Travel and transportation within Metro Manila are included in the unit prices stated above.
- Payment shall be made within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of receipt of a valid Official Receipt (OR) or Tax Invoice issued by the Electrical Engineer. Payment shall be processed via bank transfer to the account designated by the vendor. Late payments shall accrue interest at the rate of 1.5% per month as stipulated under Philippine law.
- The Electrical Engineer shall submit all design documents, inspection reports, and technical deliverables in both hard copy (three (3) sets) and electronic format (PDF and editable CAD files) to the MMIDC Project Management Office located in Makati, Philippines Manila.
- Any change in scope, additional inspection visits, or modifications to the original design shall require a written Change Order approved by both parties prior to execution. No additional charges shall be recognized without a duly signed Change Order attached to this Purchase Order.
- The Electrical Engineer shall carry professional liability insurance with a minimum coverage of PHP 5,000,000.00 for the duration of the project. A certificate of insurance shall be provided to MMIDC before the start date.
- This Purchase Order is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be resolved through the courts of competent jurisdiction in the Philippines Manila region.
- The Electrical Engineer shall comply with all data privacy requirements under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) when handling any proprietary or confidential information belonging to MMIDC.
- This Purchase Order shall become effective upon signature by both authorized representatives and shall remain valid until the completion of all line items or until the expiration date stated above, whichever comes first.
