Terms and Conditions of this Purchase Order
- This Purchase Order is issued by Brisbane Commercial Properties Pty Ltd and constitutes a binding agreement for the supply of Electrician services and associated materials as described herein. The Electrician, PowerCore Electrical Solutions, acknowledges acceptance of all terms upon signature below.
- All electrical work shall be performed in strict compliance with the Australian and New Zealand Wiring Rules (AS/NZS 3000:2018), the Electrical Safety Act 2002 (Queensland), and all applicable regulations enforced by the Queensland Building and Fair Trading Board. The Electrician must hold a current Queensland Electrical Licence (QEL) and maintain a minimum of $20 million public liability insurance throughout the project duration.
- The Electrician shall provide a Certificate of Electrical Compliance (CoEC) upon completion of all works at the Brisbane project site. No final payment shall be released until the CoEC has been issued and lodged with the relevant Queensland authority.
- Payment shall be made within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of a valid tax invoice from the Electrician. Payment shall be made by electronic funds transfer (EFT) to the bank account nominated by PowerCore Electrical Solutions. Late payments shall attract interest at the rate of 10% per annum as per the Australian Consumer Law.
- All materials supplied under this Purchase Order must be new, of Australian or New Zealand standard compliance, and carry the appropriate RCM (Regulatory Compliance Mark). The Electrician warrants all workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of completion.
- The Electrician shall adhere to all health and safety requirements under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Queensland). A site-specific safety method statement must be submitted to the Buyer prior to commencement of works at the Brisbane CBD location.
- Any variations to the scope of work described in this Purchase Order must be agreed in writing by both parties prior to execution. The Electrician shall not proceed with any additional work without a written variation order referencing this Purchase Order number (PO-2025-BNE-04782).
- This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the State of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland. The Electrician and Buyer agree to attempt mediation through the Queensland Small Claims Commission before initiating any legal proceedings.
- The Electrician shall maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times. All electrical waste, including old cabling, switchboards, and fixtures, shall be removed from the Brisbane site within 48 hours of completion and disposed of in accordance with Queensland environmental regulations.
- This Purchase Order is valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of issue. If the Electrician does not accept this Purchase Order within fourteen (14) days, it shall lapse and the Buyer reserves the right to engage an alternative Electrician in Brisbane, Australia.
