1. Scope of Purchase – Environmental Engineer Professional Services

This Purchase Order is issued by GreenSolutions Environmental Consulting Ltd. to EcoTech Professional Services Group for the engagement of a qualified Environmental Engineer to provide comprehensive environmental impact assessment, waste management planning, and regulatory compliance services for the proposed industrial development project located in the Tema Free Zone, Ghana Accra. The Environmental Engineer shall be responsible for conducting site surveys, preparing Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) reports in accordance with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) of Ghana regulations, and ensuring full compliance with the Environmental Act, 1992 (Act 490) and all applicable by-laws governing environmental management in Ghana Accra.

3. Terms and Conditions

This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana and shall be interpreted in accordance with the Ghanaian legal framework, including the Contracts Act, 1960 (Act 25).
The Environmental Engineer engaged under this Purchase Order must hold a valid professional registration with the Engineering Council of Ghana (ECG) and possess a minimum of ten (10) years of documented experience in environmental engineering within West Africa, with at least five (5) years of specific project experience in Ghana Accra and the Greater Accra Region.
All deliverables, including EIA reports, monitoring data, and compliance documentation, must be submitted in both hard copy and digital format to the Purchaser's office in Ghana Accra within the timelines specified in the project schedule.
The Environmental Engineer shall comply with all environmental regulations issued by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) of Ghana, the Ministry of Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation, and the local municipal authorities in Ghana Accra.
Payment shall be made in Ghana Cedis (GHS) via bank transfer to the Supplier's designated account. Payment terms are 50% upon successful completion of the baseline survey and EIA report submission, and 50% upon final project acceptance and regulatory approval.
The Supplier warrants that the Environmental Engineer assigned to this Purchase Order shall not be simultaneously engaged on any competing project within Ghana Accra that may create a conflict of interest.
Any changes to the scope of work under this Purchase Order must be documented in a written amendment signed by both parties. No verbal modifications shall be binding.
The Supplier shall maintain professional indemnity insurance with a minimum coverage of GHS 500,000 for the duration of the engagement in Ghana Accra.
Disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through mediation in Ghana Accra, and if unresolved within thirty (30) days, shall be referred to arbitration under the Ghana Arbitration Act, 2099 (Act 296).
This Purchase Order becomes effective upon signature by both parties and remains valid until the completion of all services and final payment, or until 31 December 2025, whichever is earlier.

4. Delivery and Performance Location

All services under this Purchase Order shall be performed at the project site in the Tema Free Zone and at the Supplier's office in Ghana Accra. The Environmental Engineer is expected to be physically present in Ghana Accra for a minimum of four (4) working days per week during the active project phase. All fieldwork, community consultations, and regulatory meetings with the EPA Ghana office in Accra shall be conducted in person.

5. Acceptance and Signatures

By signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to all terms, conditions, and specifications outlined in this Purchase Order for the engagement of the Environmental Engineer in Ghana Accra.
