- Delivery Location: All Firefighter equipment shall be delivered to the Bangalore Fire & Emergency Services Department warehouse located at Fire Station Complex, MG Road, Bangalore – 560001, Karnataka, India. Delivery must be completed within 45 calendar days from the date of this Purchase Order.
- Quality Assurance: The supplier guarantees that all Firefighter gear and equipment conform to IS 8990, IS 15320, and IS 15321 standards as applicable. A copy of ISI certification for each item category must accompany the delivery consignment. The Bangalore Fire Department reserves the right to reject any Firefighter item that fails to meet the specified Indian safety standards.
- Payment Terms: Payment shall be made via RTGS/NEFT to the supplier's designated bank account within 30 days of successful delivery, inspection, and acceptance of all Firefighter equipment. A 10% advance against this Purchase Order shall be released within 7 working days of PO confirmation. The remaining 90% shall be paid upon final acceptance.
- Warranty: The supplier provides a minimum 2-year comprehensive warranty on all Firefighter equipment, covering manufacturing defects, material failures, and workmanship issues. SCBA units carry a 3-year warranty on the cylinder and regulator assembly. Warranty service must be available within Bangalore city limits.
- Penalty for Delay: In the event of delayed delivery beyond the stipulated 45-day period, a penalty of 0.5% of the total Purchase Order value per day of delay shall be deducted from the payment, up to a maximum of 10% of the total value. Delays exceeding 30 additional days entitle the Bangalore Fire Department to cancel this Purchase Order without liability.
- Inspection and Acceptance: A joint inspection team comprising representatives from the Bangalore Fire Department and the Karnataka State Fire Safety Committee shall inspect all Firefighter items upon delivery. Acceptance is contingent upon 100% compliance with the specifications outlined in this Purchase Order.
- Training and Support: The supplier shall provide on-site training for Firefighter personnel in Bangalore on the proper use, maintenance, and storage of all procured equipment. A minimum of two training sessions shall be conducted at the Bangalore Fire Training Academy, Yelahanka, within 15 days of delivery.
- Applicable Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations under this Purchase Order due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government-imposed restrictions, or civil unrest affecting Bangalore or the broader Indian region.
- Confidentiality: All information exchanged under this Purchase Order, including Firefighter operational deployment plans for Bangalore, shall be treated as confidential and shall not be disclosed to third parties without written consent of the Bangalore Fire & Emergency Services Department.
