4. Terms and Conditions

This Purchase Order is issued by the Fire and Rescue Service of Nepal Kathmandu Metropolitan City for the procurement of Firefighter safety equipment, protective gear, and operational tools. All items listed herein are mandatory for the continued safe operation of Firefighter personnel across the Kathmandu Valley.
The Supplier shall deliver all Firefighter equipment to the designated Firefighter Station located on Ring Road, Kathmandu, Nepal, no later than 30 August 2025. Late delivery shall incur a penalty of 0.5% of the total Purchase Order value per day of delay.
All Firefighter gear must comply with the international standards specified in the line items above and must carry valid certification from recognized testing bodies. The Supplier shall provide certificates of conformity and test reports with each delivery batch.
Payment shall be made within 30 days of receipt and satisfactory inspection of all Firefighter equipment. Payment will be processed via bank transfer to the Supplier's registered account in Nepal. The total Purchase Order amount of NPR 35,735,930 (Thirty-Five Million Seven Hundred Thirty-Five Thousand Nine Hundred Thirty Nepalese Rupees) is inclusive of VAT and delivery charges.
The Supplier warrants that all Firefighter equipment is new, unused, and free from defects. A minimum warranty period of two (2) years shall apply to all items. Any defective Firefighter gear discovered within the warranty period shall be replaced at no additional cost to the Buyer.
Inspection and acceptance of the Firefighter equipment shall be conducted by a joint committee appointed by the Nepal Kathmandu Fire and Rescue Service. The Buyer reserves the right to reject any item that does not meet the specified standards or is found to be substandard upon delivery.
This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Nepal. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through arbitration in Kathmandu, Nepal, in accordance with the Arbitration Act of Nepal.
The Supplier shall provide a comprehensive training session for at least 50 Firefighter personnel in Nepal Kathmandu on the proper use, maintenance, and storage of the newly procured equipment. Training shall be conducted within 14 days of final delivery.
All Firefighter equipment must be properly labeled with the Nepal Kathmandu Fire and Rescue Service insignia and a unique asset tracking number for inventory management purposes.
This Purchase Order may be amended only by mutual written agreement between both parties. No verbal modifications shall be considered valid or binding.

5. Delivery and Logistics

All Firefighter equipment shall be delivered in original manufacturer packaging, clearly marked with the Purchase Order number and the destination address in Nepal Kathmandu. The Supplier is responsible for all transportation, insurance, and handling costs until the goods are received and signed for at the Firefighter Station, Ring Road, Kathmandu. Partial deliveries are permitted provided each shipment is accompanied by a detailed packing list and delivery challan referencing this Purchase Order.
